Gajar Ka Halwa-the Raina Mirchandani way

Carrot Halwa

Ingredients:
Carrot 500g
Sugar 250g
Milk 150 ml
Thickened milk 150g
Clarified butter 100ml
Cashew nuts 50g
Raisins 50g
Fat 100ml
Cardamom10g

Procedure:
Wash, peel and grate the carrots
Saute carrot into clarified butter
Add sugar and saute till the sugar melts
Add milk, saute properly and allow it to cook
Add thickened milk and saute
Saute dry fruits in butter
Add dry fruits to the halwa
Serve hot or cold.
